2 months ago, i have a very bad chest infection got put on steriods and other antibiotics.. got better in myself like ill wise.. but i've still got that cough which wouldnt go! i went to the doctor last week, and they gave me a Ventolin Pump, my doctor said it could be asthma cos he could hear some wheezing around my chest.. and he told me to take it when i start coughing.. before exercing and before i go to bed.. but like my chest never feels tight like some people.. but i get bad coughing fits, and sometimes my chest like makes a funny noise like its really phlemy or something.. so should i take my asthma pump then? confused

ventolin will help open up the airways and help you bring up any muck in the chest.

ventolin as prescribed will not hurt you and will help you cope with the symptoms of the chest infection
